Sketchbook studies I had been working on until my sketchbook fell into a washer. I was working on the figure from a cast at the Walters Museum and the Barque copies were done from reproductions.

Chierology- the study of hands

I've been studying skulls in my sketchbook to get more of an understanding of the structure of the face.

The assignment was to give reference to a theme in the news through an illustration of an Poe story. This one was about animal abuse being referenced through the story of the black cat.

I made a quick value study for my bacchus painting over the break and last week I started a grisaille study of it.

I went to San Diego California last week to visit my friend and teacher Pose 2 aka. Maxx Moses. It was a good trip. I got to meet tons of great people who make art and was able to get exposed to new art galleries and museums. Plus I got to take a graffiti workshop.
The piece I posted is a collaboration I worked on with Pose during the trip. I only painted the pink stuff he did everything else. I used Rockwell paintings as reference for the forms.
