My paintings for Central High School to encourage reading will be installed in the school soon. The paintings will be on view at Tulsa Artist Fellowship First Friday, September 6th, 6 - 9 pm. Tulsa Artist Fellowship Studios, 109 N. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tulsa, OK 74103. Studio #229 “Unbound” 3 x 5 feet, Oil. “Through the fire” 3 x 5 feet, Oil. “Within Reach” 3 x 5 feet, Oil. These paintings will also be on view during the First Friday Event. “Sun Queen” Oil, 8 x 10 inches. “A Song of Gold and Silver” Oil, 8 x 10 inches.

My painting “All that Glitters” will be on view in “Myths & Legends” at Liggett Studio from September 13th - October 3rd. The week of workshops in Hollywood was incredible. 

I was gratified to be a part of this inspiring week of workshops from the contest judges and celebration. I benefited from all of the workshop instructors and gained many tools for creating, submitting, sharing, protecting and promoting my art.

Open Studio and other news

 

My studio will be open during the Tulsa Artist Fellowship First Friday event on February 2nd from 6 -9pm.

 Displaying four mural paintings that were created for events at Lycée Paul Lapie and Ecollectif in France in 2021. Each painting depicts students inside of fantasy stories to encourage students to dive into the world of reading. The first Friday event is the first chance to see the paintings in America.

 I am fortunate to have received an Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition Community Artist Partnership grant to expand my murals for Central High School for 2024. More information about this project at the event.
